About Me
Hello, I’m Joyce! An early childhood educator, storyteller and illustrator based in Singapore.I create stories, programmes and playful learning experiences that encourage children to imagine, participate and explore. My work combines early childhood knowledge with whimsical illustrations, interactive storytelling and a little bit of curiosity.
How I Got Here
I started out studying marine biology, which meant spending a lot of time making friends with marine animals and the stories hidden in the natural world.That curiosity eventually led me into early childhood, where I began using science communication to turn animal facts and conservation ideas into playful programmes and experiences for young children at places such as Singapore’s aquarium and zoo.Today, I bring those two worlds together through playful stories, illustrations and learning experiences inspired by animals, nature and a healthy dose of imagination.
